Tent Palaces
Above are pictures of grand structures we have made in the past with Yurtshop and Toby Fairlove. Now completed are two new palacial tents to be erected at the Canvaschic site at Milles Etoiles in France. The Great Hall
This a feasting banqueting tent, terrace structure which is a bespoke design based on a framed tent from the Turkmen of Anatolia, documented by Dr Peter Alford Andrews (www.andrewspeter.info) in 1972. Due to the size of and requirements we had to modify it, although where possible we kept inline with the original design. The frame uprights and horizontals are of Mediterranean oak and the rafters are of chestnut.

 The Two Story Yurt Palace
This is a two-storey Yurt, the frame being adapted from 3x18 ft Qirgiz frames. The upper yurt sits on a deck within the larger ground yurt, and has a spiral staircase to its entrance.
